Love for Strong VPN

I am pimping out my keyboard time and this here space to tout the benefits of being a paid customer of Strong VPN. Sharing my life online would not be the same without it. Imagine living in a world of exclusive Baidu searches and Gmail access at a tenth of the speed. Thankfully I do not have to. I have Strong VPN. Find them on Facebook, or Twitter. There are infrequent problems with the delivery of the VPN service and the costumer service access is always available through a chat interface. The VPN service and the customer service are delivered fast and reliably. The cost is reasonable at $9 a month, as of this posting, for two accounts; one each for my laptop and one for my mobile handset. Just this morning, while sitting in a Jeep on the China/Mongolian border, I was able to turn on the VPN service on my mobile and share a photo on Facebook. Not possible without the service. That my friends, is my love for Strong VPN.

My Friend Katherine

Dirty, Dirty

You left some DNA on my duvet
White on red I see in my bed
I do care you are not here

Not for the day I say;
"My cock is hot"
and "You tweaked my hip a bit"

I was not full of shit

You tweaked my hip
and jacked my back

But I like your touch very much

and wish a kiss from your lips

Now no trace of your sweet embrace
Come back, come back, and share my shack
Want me, wake me, work me over
Pluck me like a five leaf clover

He loves me, he loves me not

Pluck me like a five clover
and tell me you will be my lover
So I can say some day

My cock is not hot

My hip is fit and my back not whacked

For I love our touch very much
and wish a kiss upon our lips
and a shared embrace of silk and lace
as I place my head upon your red
portal,

for I am a mortal

and I long for your slit that is such a hit.

Bad Bay Bubby ~ 1993 ~ Rolf de Heer

When I watch an Australian made film like Mad Max, The Piano, The Adventures of Pricilla, Queen of the Desert or Hedwig the Angry Inch, at some point I remember; outside of the native populations, the current western cultured development of the continent was penal colony in origin.

From their bizarre characters and plots, to the ragged and scrubbed dry shooting locations, these films share a hard ground edge.  Bad Boy Bubby is no different.  The compelling story line throughout is there as well and this is a recommended film.

In the films beginning there are many scenes of grotesque existence that set the stage for the repeated Slacker like character introductions that soon follow.

For the first third of the film I couldn't tell what the time period or when it was shot for that matter.  That fact alone held my interest. The unexpected plot twists that come one after another as you follow a mans' journey into the wilderness of new people, places, and things provide the real hook though.  The tale of Bubby's liberation is filled with some of the those classically intriguing and oft color Australian depictions of society and moral and value.

So many profoundly touching experiences are portrayed so well on the screen by actor Nicolas Hope you really should find his range and manifestation of Bubby a joy to watch.

If you are looking for that same glorious "the sun still rises" ending this Australian film has that too.  You wont be able to watch it without a appreciated the range of emotion it creates.

I am curious to know which ones.

Desire

what you do to me you crazy fool

darting in and out of my conscientiousness in your game of tag for one

usurping me of my reason, taunting my logic, testing my resolve,  all while flaunting your ease of use

carefully caressing my lapses in ego with your contempt

cycling through your creation and simultaneous destroying of determination and drive

reducing me with your imbalanced state you crazy fool you righteous bastard

you source of will, I want you

I found something I enjoy doing.

Taking intermediate ESL students to the advanced level.

After the brief, yet warranted mutiny yesterday (my second day of being more than a little tardy to 8am class) that included venting to management, I have my students back where I want them. Eating from the hand of knowledge.

I always suspected I would love teaching and law and I am half right so far.

This afternoon, Gina, the first student take advantage of the free hour I make myself available each day, told me of her struggle in the last five years since returning to Ecuador from the United States. She is losing vocabulary and general language production skills. In addition,  she is challenged by the spanish writing voice.

It will be interesting to see how I help students transition this voice and ultimatly lay new neurological paths.

I already have ideas using the visual Gina showed me today that illustrates the differences between the "voices" that dictate her speech and writing style.

I will need to show my students how they can write short, concise sentences with limited lexicon in English, as opposed to the ever flowing,  extended, and decorated style of the Spanish voice.

I also recognized that I will need to learn to adapt my teaching voice to suite different first languages.

On the way to the market

I spotted this:

How to make soap?

Get six free mostly ummature coconuts from this guy:

Scrap them all out and put it osome high heat with some water.

and cook it...

and cook it...

and cook it in a smaller pot...

and squeeze the little fry balls.

and get a shot full of oil.

In order to make soap. But don't the lye to water ration... like I did.

Why I want to go to china reason #1.

Why I want to go to china reason #1.

The first reason I want to go to China; it is the same size as the US with as much geographical diversity and wild places to camp.

Catfish ~ 2010 ~ Henry Joost, Ariel Schulman

I really enjoyed experiencing the documented real life story of Nev Schulman and the family of Angela Wesselman that directors Henry Joost, Ariel Schulman captured in their 2010 film Catfish.

This film touchingly reveals the level of connectedness that can be shared by people of vastly different worlds, who are living highly contrasting lives.

In the first twenty minutes the directors did a great job of engaging me with the excitement of the main characters Nev’s mutual enamorment with Abby, a highly successful child artist (Nev is also an artist) with the maturity and wisdom of an adult.

I then found myself relating to Nev again as he wooed Abby's sister Megan, as a new love interest, into his world.

As their budding courtship develops, we get to watch the subtitles of the communication between them amidst the vast physical separation they share.

The story progresses steadily and the characters unfold. The mid point of the film reaches a climax when Nev finally spontaneously decides to make a surprise visit to Megan, Abby and their mother Angela.

The scene delivers a very high level of suspense.  So much so it reminded me of the last two minutes of The Blair Witch Project it was so intense.

By this point in the film you have been given many opportunities to speculate about the truth behind the accumulation of mysteries that surround this family that Nev has discovered.  My guess is that you will not be far from figuring out what the visit to Angela’s house will reveal especially if you are aware of the remote fullness and limited economies of the upper peninsula of Michigan where Angela’s family lives.

I wanted to stop this film many times to begin write my review with all the different speculations but am glad I waited until the end as the story took many unexpected changes and waiting for each result was fascinating.

In the end, I found the brave willingness of Nev to enter Angela’s family’s world encouraging and I was touched the outcome of each of their mutual discoveries.  Abby, Megan and Angela are worthy women to be wooed and watching the enrichment of their friendships with Nev really worked because it was real life.

Why do we choose to watch film? To learn more about the context of our own selves and the lives we choose to live? To briefly share the vicariousness of a fantasy world filled with alter egos?

If you answered yes to these either questions I encourage you the watch Catfish.  I also not so secretly hope to be a “catfish” for you and your life.

My friend Rich

asks;

"Did you ever grow anything in the garden of your mind?"

Why yes;
I hoe... sow... water... and pray... there everyday.
The key for my mind I find...is not being clouded...by a lack of sunshine...
from within.
Or being battered about by a bystander storm.
Akin to the likes of Boreas
before he bore his brood.
Perfect conditions can be created for constant crops.
For you my good man I find:
Frequent, fruit filled harvests, with fresh flavors of foreknowledge.
I choose this for you Rich because I know that you have chosen to mindfully make any waste
more food for thought.

My friend Cindy

Who or what are you sadness?

Why do you fill me so?

Why when you come do I feel sooo full?
Encompassed and encapsulated?
Searing and full, full, full.
You are so full.

You leave no room for doubt, derision or subversion of self.

You fill me from toe top to hair tip.

You radiate into the space of my aura.
I so respect your contained vastness.

Comforted in the knowing of your wholeness.
I am an allower of your embrace.  Submittor to your wash.

Ahh that is it!
I am a submitter to your wash as you cleanse me.

I respect you sadness.

I have a fondness for the mutual respect of our relationship.

You know when you are wanted and how long to stay.

Because of this I do cherish your visits.

Flit around on your social calls and do come again.

How is it then, I can love you more... when you are gone?

You think you are so smart.
Glibly fantasizing intelligence for your captive audience of one.
Mesmorizing only your mind with its own meandering missivness.
Wit and wisdom or woeful wonderment Aaron?
Maybe your truly just a self serving douche.
And you dont even know it.
How smart you are now?

My friend Carol

Sitting in my first world private work space at the public library.

Floor to ceiling downtown view.
With lots of sunlight too.
Wired and air conditioned.

Desk lamp... ergonomic table and chair. I can get used to working from here.
Only two hours a day you say? That's OK.

I can work with that.

Facebooking for an overpaid paper jockey in a once forbidden waste land made more barren everyday in a literal way.

By the head long embrace of planetary destruction.

What the Hell?

Why not?

It paid my bus fare, my lunch and my dinner.
So I too can consider myself a winner.

Somehow how the sadness of all this knowledge of futile truth makes it alright for tears to stream down my face.
Knowing I am going to sleep alone tonight? More or less. No.
The constant lack of true love and respect.
The love that we need and the respect it all deserves.

Not all this meager might.

The cracks in the side walk here are ground down if they get to high.
Be it by earth, tree or water.
I like that fact. I do.

But you still cant skateboard here like you can on the road from Riobamba to Macas.
